Health is not only basic to lead a happy life for an individual, but also necessary for all productive activities in the society. The study has clearly highlighted on the admission of inpatients in various department of the Hospitals along with gender wise disparity of patients admitted, geographical distribution of patients admitted and the detail account on monthly patients admitted in year 2009. The Private and Public Sector plays a very important role in provision of Healthcare Services leading to well-being of society. However, most of the Public Healthcare Services like that of the KR and JSS Hospitals were being enjoyed mostly by the poorer section of society whose income level falls under Below Poverty Line (BPL) and Above Poverty Line (APL).
