It is hoped that improvements of cereal crops now possible through the application of plant cell and tissue culture. Such technologies improve the quality of breeding processes and enrich the existing germplasm. Thus,it plays an important role for the creation of new variation in crops. This book begins with a general introduction where more information was found as to the global status on rice production and its biotechnology. The second chapter deals with the literature review and the third chapter describes protocols used in these experiments. Chapter four and five concentrates the outcome of the work and general discussion respectively.
