In this book an endeavor has been made to investigate the implementation of context - based vocabulary teaching practice which is currently used at Hawas Preparatory School grade twelve English classes. To conduct this study qualitative design was employed which involved the researcher to interact naturalistic occurring data and qualitative data analysis. To carry out the study, textbook analysis, classroom observation, teachers’ interview and students’ focus group discussion were used as data gathering instruments. The study shows that EFL teachers could include context - based vocabulary instruction which is helpful for students develop their word power from the context of the given situation. Context based vocabulary teaching styles also enable students to comprehend the concept of different subjects of the school.
