Aim of this work is to present and discuss about the design and fabrication a micro reactor using laser Micro machine SLD 6000, which is used for biodiesel production. The focus of the work is fabrication of reaction plate using laser machine SLD 6000, with aluminum 1200 as substrate material. Micro reaction technology allows the fabrication of chemical reactors with sub millimeter dimensions. Microreactor technology, an important method of process intensification, offers potential benefits to the chemical process industries due to the welldefined high specific interfacial area available for heat and mass transfer, which increases transfer rates, and enhances safety resulting from low hold-ups. Design of microreactor is done based on the flow rate, the cross sectional area is evaluated and then the evaluated dimension is attained using laser micro machine on the aluminium 1200 material. In this work, the laser process parameter has been optimized and reaction plate a part of microreactor has been fabricated and the width of the channel is inspected, and proposed a setup for active biodiesel production using microreactor.
