This book presents the kinetic studies on the effects of inert organic and inorganic salts (4-BrBzNa and NaBr) for the base (NaOH) catalysed piperidinolysis of an ester, in the form of ionized phenyl salicylate (PS-), under two different micellar phases. Pure cationic cetylmethylammonium bromide, CTABr, and mixed cationic-nonionic cetylmethylammonium bromide-Polyethylene glycol hexadecyl ether or Polyoxyethylene (20) cetyl ether, CTABr-C16E20.
