In the teaching-learning process of any language, learners need to have good knowledge of words of the target language to become effective in their academic endeavor. And their effectiveness highly depends on the appropriateness of the teachers' way of word teaching. In teaching the English vocabulary, it is obvious that there is no one best technique that works for all conditions. Rather, it is much better to apply eclectic way of word teaching in order to address the diversified needs of the learners. In this regard, this research-based book tried to present some scholarly proven ways of teaching the English Vocabulary. The book can be useful for English Language Teachers and Students by familiarizing them with a variety of word teaching and learning techniques.
