This research investigates the nature of grammar teaching and find out some effective ways of grammar teaching. For this, four teachers are interviewed to understand the way grammar is being taught in classroom. Afterwards, an experimental grammar class was taken following inductive approach. To understand its suitability, a researcher’s diary has been maintained. Besides, a focus interview has been taken from the students of the experimental class. Qualitative data collected from interviews, an experimental class and a researcher’s diary are analyzed after sorting them out in emerged categories. The results show that learners’ involvement in grammar teaching is a catalyst to make grammar teaching interesting and effective.
