When a candidate decides to cheat in a national examination, there is always a lot of underlying situational; contextual and psychological under currents forces driving the motive. In Kenya, examination results are the major determinants of access to the job market and selection into institutions of higher learning. Given the very stiff competition for places, it is imperative that objectivity and fairness be the overriding concerns in the allocation of these places.
