Multimedia technologies have recently provided a number of new elements such as audio- video, text, graphic, animation. These elements help the teacher in recreating real life experiences in the classroom which can only be described in words so far. But the effective learning, resulting from the use of Multimedia technologies in education, depends upon a number of social and personal factors like the attitude of students towards Multimedia Technologies. It is considered important for two main reasons; firstly, the attitude which an individual has influences his learning to a considerable extent. Secondly, the possession of favourable attitude towards Multimedia technologies is an important characteristic of a scientifically literate person. Thus, the measurement of attitude in this study is done by evaluating the student’s reaction (positive and negative) towards all important aspects of Multimedia Technology as well as by his/her opinion, feeling, like or dislike towards Multimedia Technology.Naturally, a student with favourable attitude towards Multimedia Technology would be familiar with its latest tools and their application in the field of education.
