This qualitative study explored how Caribbean nationals of the millennial generation are using social media to stay connected and are willing to use these ICTs to contribute to the growth and development of their native lands. The growth and use of social media to keep people connected and informed offers communication scholars the opportunity to examine and explore the role these tools and platforms play in the lives of people of the Caribbean diaspora.
