This book shows that translators are faced with overtranslation, undertranslation, mistranslation, and overlapping problems. These are caused by cultural differences, translator’s linguistic incompetence, translator’s background knowledge and experiences. Also there is several numbers of effects caused by the problems in the translation product. The effects include misleading believers, distortion of religious content and conflict of interest among believers. It is recommended that translators should improve their language proficiency, good understanding of both cultures, use test retesting method to evaluate their translation. Also translators should attend training on the use proper translation theory, avoiding freelance translation, as well as self interest.
