Water is an indispensable component of socio-economic development of a nation. Unfortunately, due to degradation water resources are getting increasingly scarce on the globe. Adequate supply of water is also crucial for survival of humans, terrestrials'' as well as aquatic population on this planet. While appreciating water scanty aspect, irrigated agriculture being highest water-consumer among other competing sectors requires judicial use of existing water resources than ever before. This can be achieved through adoption of scientific irrigation scheduling (SIS) techniques. Recent advances in computer technology have facilitated to employ the SIS for enhanced water productivity. The present toil was aimed at presenting an Irrigation Planning, Scheduling and Evaluation computer software for a broad range of users; from field engineers and extension specialists to water managers at the farm, district, and higher levels. The software can be used as a planning tool and/or to assist in making management decisions, whether strategic, tactical or operational, and scenario simulations for use by the economists as well as for a variety of objectives and applications.
