Kinanthropometry is the quantitative interface between human structure and function. Kinanthropometric investigations have the basic importance in establishing the prerequisite characteristics of athletes for their maximum performance. Detailed information regarding kinanthropometric characteristics of athletes is certainly important in modern sports. Kinanthropometric measurements are also used to determine body size differences, somatotyping and body composition.
