The book is divided into four sections. Section one has five chapters dealing with the basic concepts of crop protection. Section two discusses diseases and disease control methods with emphasis on viruses, bacteria, and fungi. Section three examines insect pests identification and control including cultural, chemical and biological control methods. Section four deals with weeds including their classification and control methods. The disease and insect pests control methods in stored products of cereals, pulses, root and tuber crops are also included. However this book does not deal with pests of individual crops.
