Hockey is the national game of India. In hockey, a player requires high level of motor fitness to excel at different levels of competitions. This book provides knowledge about motor fitness of hockey players. Motor fitness components like strength, speed, endurance, flexibility and co-ordination ability plays an important role in improving the fitness level of players. Test battery consists seven sub-tests like forward bend reach, standing broad jump, standing shot put, sit ups, 40 meters sprint, shuttle run and 800 meters run.
