We have people in our surroundings who cannot move both their upper and lower limbs. Such people are completely paralyzed and have no connection with the outside world. The book is basically aimed at helping disabled people move around and interact with the environment with minimum effort. The book is about a bio medical engineering research project involving a motorized wheelchair controlled by facial movements. This is a next step in the joy- stick controlled wheelchair, because it does not need the efforts of the hands either. So if both the hands and legs of a person are not functional he can still move around by just moving his head. Though there are many other ways of making such a wheel chair but we have choosen the above method because we wanted to make a software that can be used for this purpose as well as in many other applications.
