This work mainly focuses on how night time electron density instability in the ionosphere (Spread F) affects GPS signals and addresses its daily and seasonal variation of plasma instability. GPS signals which pass through the ionosphere have been recorded using AFRL-SCINDA GPS receivers. From this data the daily and seasonal variation of spread F and ionospheric scintillation which is a result of plasma instability were studied.
