The book is an attempt to capture and present the Oral Traditions, History and the Social Transformations of the Kalanga people who are presently found in south Western parts of Zimbabwe today. The book explores the historical developments of Izimnyama/Mpalawali people from the time they settled in the area to 2006. The book also brings in the contribution of women to these transformations and their role in Kalanga society.
