Biomass briquetting process can transform this biomass into solid, high density, regular shape that can be easily stored and transported. Biomass briquette fuel is well adapted as alternative wood fuel in the study area with satisfactory performances. Due to the intervention of the biomass briquette fuel people are getting advantage form time saving for fuel collection, better service from the fuel, employment generation, income generation and the most important benefits from the reduction of CO2 by replacing the wood fuel from non-sustainable forest. The analysis will help as an exciting example to the policy maker of government and international development organization for disseminating alternative woody biomass fuel to meet the acute shortage of wood fuel and to save the environment.
