Professional adjustment is an individual?s adaptation in professional relationship with people both inside and outside school as reflected in individual?s attitude and behavior. The researcher developed and standardized a tool viz. Teachers? Professional Adjustment Inventory for assessment of adjustment level of teachers in their profession. The author is hopeful that this research study will certainly be worthy for teacher-educators, policy planners, academic administrators, teachers and researchers. Teacher Professional Adjustment Inventory appended with this book will be helpful for NCTE, other teachers? recruitment board/ council/agency/department and private school administrators/principals for assessment of professional adjustment status of pre-primary to higher education teachers at the time of their recruitment.
