By understanding what makes a refugee and what life as a refugee is like, it is possible to understand one result of intractable conflicts and conceive of ways to avoid such situations. In addition, knowing what problems refugees encounter allows different agencies and concerned citizens to provide better protective assistance and human rights for refugees .Therefore, Kiziba refugee camp has been chosen as a refugee community encountering different public health problems mainly associated with social, cultural, political and economic issues within the camp.
