There has been little research regarding the impact of student-level and school-level characteristics on the science achievement of both immigrant and non-immigrant students in Canada. This study sought to investigate the student-level and school-level influences associated with science achievement of immigrant and non-immigrant students by using a multilevel framework among a national sample of 22,646 students from 896 schools in Canada.
