The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe Head teacher?s leadership styles and teachers motivation in their profession. The study was conducted in the government high schools of Lalitpur district,Nepal. The study revealed that the Head teacher?s leadership style has a great role to play on teacher motivation. Many factors were found to have an important impact on the leadership styles and their impact in turn on teacher motivation. A significant positive correlation was found between leadership styles and teacher motivation. The research concluded that leadership styles are the determinant factors for teacher motivation.
