Ethics and Aesthetics have always been of challenging debates in philosophical traditions. This book includes six essays written by Professor Khatami concerning some controversial issues in Ethics and Aesthetics. They are juxtaposed here in the form of a book to evoke the common spiritual source of the ethical and the aesthetical, even though that is not the immediate or direct concern of the essays. Each essay preserves freedom of style in plan and method of disputation, and can be read independently from the rest. This book will be useful to those who are interested in philosophical issues on ethical and aesthetical issues.
