His work presents a methodology discussion and system design analysis for a semantic web enabled urban museum & tour guide system. At its heart lies the urban museum ontology, which has to deal with complex knowledge queries from users roaming indoor and outdoor city heritage sites. In detail the logical reasoning concept of ontologies is reviewed, current solutions evaluated and mapped onto the context of an urban museum tour guide with the German city Luebeck being exmplified.
