The book starts by showing different perspectives on the causes of violence by men against their wives. Different perspectives on how violence can be combated were given. It has provided two mechanism that can be used to combat violence i.e. A social framework for ending male violence against women and A subversive counselling model. The book concludes by giving some recommendations.
